Jan 2, 2008. It's my 4th and last night in the
Philippines. I was packing my luggage, getting ready for my morning flight. Out of nowhere, 'lil Ethan turned snappy. Abruptly, he feels so bad that he acted like he wants to hit his Tatay (father in Filipino).
Knowing that he can’t, he waves his hand so hard in the air instead and nags “Eehhh….
Taaattttaaaayyyy….” repeatedly.
When we were about to sleep, Wigs and I were still puzzled on the hasty change in Ethan’s behavoir.
Wigs whispered, “Alam ko na kung bakit iritado si Ethan kanina….”
(I already know why Ethan became so irritated a while ago…) I asked, “Why?”.
Wigs replied, “’Kse nag-eempake ka ng gamit pero yung mga gamit niya hindi inaayos…”
(‘Coz you were packing your things but his things are not being packed…”)
